Glossary: end cap

An end cap is positioned at the end of a round, square or rectangular tube. It is used to protect chair legs, table legs, furniture legs or any other tube such as fence posts, stair railings, balcony railings, etc.
A threaded end cap makes it possible to fit an adjustable foot onto the end of a tube and to adjust the leveling of tables, furniture or shelves.

The advantages of using end caps are numerous: protection of furniture, floors (especially fragile ones), people (risk of injury), perfect finishing, noise reduction, securing school chairs, and eliminating wobbly furniture and tables.

What is a felt end cap?

What is a pyramidal end cap, also known as a fence end cap?

A pyramidal end cap has a very specific shape designed mainly for fence finishing and protection. Its plastic composition protects metal tubes from corrosion and improves their durability over time.
