PRODUCT USER GUIDE: Our selection criteria for adjustable feet, screw-in feet and adhesive feet
There is a wide range of adjustable feet and furniture protection feet, as well as solutions for mechanical needs and equipment. Your choice must be made according to your specific requirements. Adjustable feet, screw-in feet or adhesive feet, ajile explains the advantages and uses of each solution.
Adjustable feet: forget about wobbly furniture
The adjustable foot is very often used by professionals for levelling industrial and professional machines. It is commonly referred to as a levelling foot. It helps stabilise the machine and absorb vibrations caused by operation. These feet are widely used in workshops and in industries such as textiles, automotive, agri-food, construction, logistics and many others.
Made of zinc-plated steel and plastic, they are resistant to corrosion and rust and can support heavy loads.
They can also be used for a wobbly workshop table, unstable professional furniture or electrical and electronic equipment. Adjustable feet allow you to correctly reposition your furniture and equipment.
Ajile offers threaded adjustable feet, knurled adjustable feet, serrated and hexagonal versions, as well as one-piece adjustable feet designed to be inserted into square tubes.
Screw-in feet
The adjustable feet described above are also part of the range of threaded screw-in feet. However, they mainly belong to the category of levelling feet for machines and industrial equipment.
For restaurant, hotel, school and public building furniture, you can protect your furniture legs with screw-in chair glides. They are robust and designed to withstand intensive use. ajile offers a very wide range of felt or plastic screw-in feet. The objective here is no longer to level the furniture, but to protect floors from scratches and improve comfort by reducing noise.
If you do not wish to screw glides into your chair legs, there is also a range of insert-in plastic feet with felt pad.
Adhesive feet
If your chair legs do not have holes and there is no need to drill to insert or screw in a glide, adhesive felt feet are the ideal solution. They are available in all shapes: rectangular, round or square.
Beyond chairs, tables and machines, there are also small adhesive feet. Applied under professional equipment, bumpers are ideal to prevent slipping, avoid scratches and allow ventilation of electronic equipment.
Bumpers are made of soft polyurethane pads and can easily be used as adhesive feet for small furniture. You will find them in all sizes, shapes and colours.
